Carmel Laniado, 14, is a teenage actress set to take on the world of cult TV after being cast in the second season of Netflix fantasy drama, The Witcher.

Starring opposite British actor Henry Cavill, Laniado will play Violet, a whimsical, yet smart and sadistic young girl, with filming already underway in the UK. This isn’t the first time the Israel born Brit has appeared on the small screen, last year she starred in the BBC adaptation of A Christmas Carol, and following this appeared in 2020 Robert Downey Jr film, Doolittle.
